Was cost a major factor
in your decision to buy HAPPY?
“Yes. When we purchased we were looking at HAPPY and
one other system. The other system was more expensive than
HAPPY. Some people think that a higher price tag means a better
product – not true! We still hear from agencies in our
area that are looking to switch from other software products
because of higher support costs.”
What is your most
immediate benefit of purchasing HAPPY Software?
“Time Savings. It’s unreal. I don’t think
people realize just how much time is spent everyday doing
forms and third-party verifications. With HAPPY you just click
a button and like magic - there is the form you need.”
What is your favorite
feature in HAPPY?
“Third-party verification tracking and form production.
I also like the “Find” feature. It lets me do
complicated queries very easily. If my Director asks me for
a report that lists families on my program, with children
under 6, broken out by project, I say “give me three
minutes”.”
What do others in
your office like the most about HAPPY?
“Error checking is a big favorite in the office. The
public housing people also like the TARs module. Its really
great for payment collection and they no longer have to do
handwritten receipts.”
